Our School Day
School begins – 8.30am
Children may come into school from 8:30am. Teachers must be in their classrooms from 8:30am to supervise children.
Morning break - Yr1, Yr2 and Yr3 at 10.15am
Yr4, Yr5 and Yr6 at 10.30am
Lunch break – Yr1, Yr2 and Yr3 11.45am – 12.30pm
Yr4, Yr5 and Yr6 12.30pm – 1.15pm
Reception – 11.00am -12.00pm
Afternoon break – KS1 – 2.05pm – 2.20pm
School closes – 3.25pm
Children left after school
Children who are not collected after school should be taken to the school office. Class staff should wait with them while emergency contact numbers are rung. After 15 minutes, parents will be charged a £5 late collection fee unless they is a genuine reason for the lateness and this has been communicated with the school office. .
Early Years Unit
Doors open from 8.30am
Part time children;
Morning session is 8.30am – 11.15am
Afternoon session is 12.30pm – 3.15pm
Office Hours
The school office is open from 8.30am until 3.45pm.
There is an answer phone for messages arriving before 8.30am and after 3.45pm each day.
Breakfast Club
Our Breakfast Club opens from 7.45am each morning during term time and aims to provide a safe and secure environment for children before they are taken into school. It is staffed by experienced members of the school team.
There is no need to pre-book to attend this club and there is no charge for the service as it is funded by Huddersfield Town Football Club. Children must arrive in school by 8.10am so they have time to eat breakfast before they go into their classes.
